Description

Okay first, I don't think I've ever drawn FP, so it's my first try, and Finn also, haven't drawn him in a while...

The background is a bit bad because I was doing two things at once so it was a guick background

This is Fanart of the new Adventure time episode Frost & Fire
I really liked this episode and got busy

I'll do commisions when I get back from my friend's place

Hope you like it <3

Read at own caution. I critique hard.

Good work with this! I see you have improved since the first critique <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="26" height="17" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="276" title="Love"/>

I like the mountains and sky. A background is a really good way to help define the setting and sometimes, emotion. (along with light, etc)
This time your lines were pretty clean, but remember for FP's hair, it's fire and most usually the flames come off it when it blows upward. I made a flame prince concept art, maybe you'd like to check that out? www.deviantart.com/art/Ichigo-…

The tears, I can understand your logic. She cries lava <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt=":D" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="366" title=":D (Big Grin)"/>
But it typically is impossible for fire to cry anything. Where is the other substance to make lava? It's hot rock.
I encourage you here, ESPECIALLY here, to better use facial features to demonstrate emotions rather than tears. It seems like she is bleeding.
Next time, make her eyebrows closer to her eyes, pointed more upwards with more wrinkles to show "hurt". Maybe also draw her mouth slightly open, teeth together, like you would see if someone really was crying. Add more wrinkles to her eyes when they are forced together, like in pain. it looks more like disappointment here, but the episode focused a lot on how Finn really hurt her emotionally.

This time your anatomy is okay, but I won't give you credit because it is a simpler pose than the last picture i critiqued. Her elbows should bend a little above the curve of the waist. Forearm is slightly low here, slightly.
The text here is fine, but a person saying "you blew it" in a way directs the attention away from your main objects. try next time to not create too many distractions. This would lower your impact on the viewer. It should be really straightforward, sometimes with no text at all because your text in the picture IS your title, and even there it can be repetitive.

Finn looks here like waving her good bye. Now, I advise you to study perspective and grasp the concept. Finn could be reaching out to her more, or simple slouched in sadness. Again, body language portrays a great deal of emotions.

Perspective is another huge thing as well as pose and expression, to be included in the picture. I'll add a little information compared to this picture, which you might have seen, by malengil. malengil.deviantart.com/art/Lo…
The vibe here is the oppositeness of Finn and FP, facing different directions, and she is also upside down, giving it more perspective. The contrast between blue and red is also visible, contrast and complementary colours brightens you image and catches the eye. Most ads you see on billboards will do this. (contrast against sky, wall, etc)

Overall: I see you've improved so much! And this is recent! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="391" title=":) (Smile)"/> So well done, the rating I gave you explains themselves, and keep drawing! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h…" width="38" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="160" title="Hug"/>
